People Over Pipelines March
This summer, there will be a 5-day march along Spectra's proposed pipeline route in Mass. Folks from all sorts of pipeline communities will be coming together to show solidarity in the fight against fracked gas. We will march to tell Gov. Baker and other legislators that if they don't work to stop new gas pipelines, then the people will.
Support The Weymouth Conservation Commission: Standout Against Spectra's Appeal
Spectra has filed an appeal with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP), in order to seek approval of their wetlands permit. In short: they are asking the State to over-rule our Local Commission.
On Tuesday, July 12 at 10am, Spectra will be at the compressor site along with representatives from MassDEP. We will be there, too. Bring signs and make yourself highly-visible, but this is not a protest– this is will be a silent and peaceful demonstration of our support for the Conservation Commission and their well-reasoned decision to deny Spectra the permit.
We understand that this is on a weekday morning, but if you can attend, please do (and invite your friends and neighbors, too). If can't make it, please complete the form below and we will compile responses and send as a "Petition" to MassDEP.
West Roxbury's "Escalation Summer"
Join our friends at Resist the West Roxbury Pipeline for a week of action to stop construction of the pipeline. Over the past year, more than 80 people have risked arrest to stop construction of the pipeline. Not only is this pipeline unnecessary, but it poses an incredible threat of danger: Spectra is building it right next to an active blasting quarry.
They will have civil disobedience trainings and actions all week long. Our fight goes beyond the Fore River, so this is an opportunity to lend our support to other pipeline communities.
You can view the full schedule below or on their facebook page.
Weymouth ConCom Meeting Continued

Protest Gov. Baker's Pipeline Tax

Join us Saturday, May 7 at 1:30PM. We will meet at Abigail Adams Middle School and walk over to Legion Field for an event that starts at 2pm.
