2008 document reveals the state set us up for gas as a "renewable energy project"

Well, look at what you can dig up if you keep digging! Kudos to Anita of Braintree for finding this little gem. Seems in 2008 that there was a conference about siting renewable energy projects--and the idiots in charge considered gas to be renewable--on CONTAMINATED sites. And guess who was in attendance at this little confab? Our friend Thomas Cushing of the DEP. You know, the guy who approved the air quality permit.

We were condemned years before this monstrosity was permitted and the DEP, CZM, and every state agency involved never had any intention of following their own regulations or the law or protecting the citizens of the Basin and the Commonwealth.

There are no pits of Hell deep enough for the enablers of this situation.
