We have a new billboard!

We have a billboard! For three and half years, the community has been fighting Enbridge's proposal to construct a 7700HP fracked-gas compressor station in the Basin, but there are still many people who are unaware of this issue. We are hoping to change that with some new advertising. The billboard will be placed above Bridge-Wey Tailors & Cleaners, 396 Bridge Street in North Weymouth for four weeks. Keep an eye out for it as you drive towards Weymouth/Hingham! We will have another billboard up in mid-October in Quincy near the Southern Artery. Take pictures and share them online!

On Monday, September 17 we had our “grand unveiling” of the billboard. A group of No Compressor supporters marched from St. Jerome's Church (intersection of Green Street and Bridge Street) to the location of the new billboard at the Sea Street intersection. Images below are from Becky Haugh.
