Heads up, Fore River Campers! Here is a very practical way to help those affected by the disaster in the Merrimack Valley.

Listening to WGBH today, we found out that although people are being allowed back in their homes, it will take many months to hook them back up to gas. (Of course, we wonder why anyone would want that at this point--but we digress.) We didn't start to think about the implications of no stoves, no hot water, and as we creep to cooler weather, no heat. No gas appliances or heat/hot water whatsoever. Try to put yourselves in those peoples shoes. Awful.
