Sen Markey visits Weymouth and reintroduces compressor bill
/ FRRACSSenator Markey joined local residents on Friday, April 2, at the compressor site, to announce the reintroduction of his and Senator Warren’s compressor bill into the current session, which would prevent the construction of fracked gas compressor stations that would aid the international export of gas. You can read more about the bill here.
We thank Sen. Markey for his tireless advocacy and his unwavering support in this fight. He tweeted about today’s event — take a look here.
Thank you, as well, to Councilor Haugh, Rep. Meschino, Sen. O'Connor, Rep. Murphy, Sen. Timilty, Solicitor Huff, and Sen. Keenan, for joining us at the compressor site today, and for their continued support in this fight.
