The Boston Globe - The start-up of the controversial Weymouth gas compressor station delayed at least until January

Start-up of the compressor station has been delayed until at least January, after PHMSA (Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration) stated that they would be doing a full safety review after Enbridge had two system failures in September.

They can't pressurize the system enough to use the compressor. Hmmm, so maybe they really never needed this compressor to supply to the same customers that they've been shipping gas to for the last 20 years?

A $100M strand asset. Some one needs to tell the stockholders. Oh, and the Attorney General. Ratepayers will be forced to pay for this mess-- as usual.

Thanks, Mike Stanton, for continuing to shed light on what we've been saying for six long years.
