For day 4 of our week of action, we have a quick and easy ask: Register for the upcoming PIP meeting and invite 2 friends to register.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 29 at 6:30pm on Zoom. TRC will be hosting the meeting. Register here and we will send you an email reminder before the meeting, as well as sample comments for the public comment portion.

Background: TRC, a consultant for Enbridge who is responsible for the cleanup of contamination at the North Parcel, will be holding a virtual meeting to give an update on the cleanup process. There will also be an opportunity to give public comments. We are asking folks to attend the virtual meeting and to provide public comment, if possible. For more specific details about the meeting and the PIP (Public Involvement Plan) process, please visit our website.

Take Action:

  1. Please register today for the meeting by filling out this form. We will send you an email reminder before the meeting with a link to the public Zoom meeting, as well as sample talking points for the public comment portion.

  2. Invite 2 friends to register today for the meeting.

  3. Mark your calendars for the meeting - Wednesday, July 29 from 6:30-9pm

  4. Tweet about the meeting and invite your friends to join! Sample tweets:

  • I’m attending @TRC’s virtual PIP meeting on Wed., July 29. This public mtg is being held to review the cleanup of contamination at the compressor station construction site. There will also be time for public comment. Let @FRRACS_MA know if you can attend: https://form.jotform.com/201978506054054

  • The site of the compressor station is laden w/ arsenic, asbestos, & other toxins. @TRC was supposed to clean it up but the process hasn't been very transparent. @TRC will be holding a virtual mtg on July 29 to give an update + gather comments. Register: https://form.jotform.com/201978506054054

Thank you, as always, for your support. Don't forget that we are having a socially-distant vigil TOMORROW on the Fore River Bridge at 7:30pm. Details here.

In the meantime, please continue to share this Week of Action document with your friends and encourage them to take action with you! And make sure Attorney General Healey, MassDOT, and Ways and Means committees continue to hear from you! To catch up on earlier action items, go here. We will send you an email tomorrow with a final action reminder.
