Congressman Lynch urges PHMSA to place a stay on their approval of operation

Congressman Lynch wrote to PHMSA today to express his concern after they granted Enbridge approval for operation. He is asking that they place a stay on their approval until a cause is found for September’s system failures.

It is unconscionable that the compressor is being allowed to operate when the one demand that PHMSA had was that the root cause analysis be completed. Not only is this not complete, but we are told the the cause "could" have been electrical? Gee, what tipped you off when you had no electrical experts on your investigative team?

Many thanks to Congressman Lynch for keeping the pressure on PHMSA.
