HIA Report Available Online

HIA UPDATE: The Health Impact Assessment (HIA) is officially available online. The report does not reflect the input from the community adequately or the data available. We didn't expect much given the fact that the HIA was conducted over a very short time-frame (6 months), with a small budget, using data mostly from Spectra. We'll provide a more detailed review of the report later, but wanted to let you know that it is available online now.

MAPC concluded that "the HIA of the proposed natural gas transmission compressor station in Weymouth predicted no substantial changes in health from direct exposures from the station itself with the exception of estimated sound levels during construction." We beg to differ.

2019 is looking to be our most challenging year yet, but we are up for the fight. We hope you are, too.
