Gubernatorial Candidates Oppose Compressor Station
/All three democratic gubernatorial candidates have spoken out against the proposed compressor station. They have taken the time to listen to the concerns of the public and understand the danger it presents to surrounding communities.
FRRACS does not endorse particular candidates, but we welcome the opportunity to work with all those who understand the gravity of our situation and the gravity of climate change and how it is already negatively affecting us all.
Mayor of Newton and Gubernatorial Candidate, Setti Warren, visited the site last week. Councilor Haugh and folks from FRRACS gave him a tour during his visit. Visiting the site and seeing the close proximity to surrounding homes and facilities can be eye-opening. We encourage folks to visit the proposed location. If you'd like a tour, we'd be happy to set one up for you.
