Submit a comment to CZM
/Spectra has applied for a Coastal Zone Management Consistency Certification since the proposed compressor station is located on the coast. We feel that their proposal is not consistent with the enforceable policies of the Massachusetts Coastal Zone Management Plan under the Federal Coastal Zone Management Act and its implementing regulations (15 C.F.R. Part 930). CZM will consider our comments in their review of federal consistency. Even with a FERC certificate, the compressor station can not be built without CZM approval.
