Clinicians, scientists, students, mothers, and supporters welcome! Join us in asking Governor Baker to stop the Weymouth Compressor Station.
***Clinicians please wear your white coat and stethoscope.****
12:00 pm: Gather in the hallway outside Governor Baker's Office
Background:
Enbridge, a gas company from Canada, is planning to build a compressor station in Weymouth, Massachusetts despite already high levels of air and soil pollution. Physicians for Social Responsibility has written three reports showing that the compressor station is a threat to human health and safety. https://gbpsr.org/issues/health-and-environment/weymouth-compressor-station/
We call upon Governor Baker to use his power to stop the Compressor Station.
