To conclude our week of action, we are inviting folks to join us on the Fore River Bridge in North Weymouth for a socially-distant vigil at 7:30 pm. RSVP on Facebook here.
Event Details:
Please wear a mask and maintain a 6 foot distance from attendees at all times.
We will have electric candles to pass out once the sun sets, but feel free to bring your own electric candle or flashlight. Please do not bring any real candles. If you bring a flashlight, please be sure to not point in the direction of cars that will be driving on the bridge.
Feel free to bring your own “No Compressor” signs.
Parking:
You can park under the bridge, both in the Lovell’s Grove parking lot and the small parking lot across from the construction site (see maps below). The address is 55 Bridge Street, Weymouth. If there is a need for more parking, you can park down the street at 352 Bridge Street, Weymouth (it is a 10 minute walk to the bridge -- see map below).
