Second Annual Fall Fest
Saturday, September 28 (rain date 9/29) | 2-5 PM | King’s Cove Park
FRRACS welcomes you to our 2nd Annual Fall Fest in the Park. We will gather in the park that is located next to the proposed compressor station site from 2-5pm. It will be a fun and festive fall celebration, so be sure to invite your friends, family, and neighbors!
We will have John's famous homemade veggie soup and bread, a special bridge dedication ceremony, games and activities, tours of the site, and more. We'll even have a special guest (thanks to our friends at 350 Mass): Charlie Baker in puppet form. It'll be the first time he has visited the site in any form, so be sure to welcome him!
Games and activities will include face painting, pumpkin painting, corn hole, and a donut-on-a-string eating contest. We will also be giving tours of the site, to give background on what already exists in the Basin, and to illustrate the impact that the compressor station would have on the surrounding community.
Food and activities will all be free. Rain date is September 29, from 2-5pm.
This event is being held in support of the Youth Climate Strike Week. We hope you can join us!
