The fight to stop the compressor station requires the use of many different tactics. As we continue to fight Enbridge in the courts, we want to be prepared for any and all outcomes. Folks from The FANG Collective will be facilitating a training on the topic on Nonviolent Direct Action (NVDA) for us. If you’re interested in learning more about NVDA, we encourage you to attend this training.
Thursday, July 18th
6:30PM-9:30PM
The Democracy Center (Nelson Mandela Room)

The FANG Collective, who has a wealth of experience in nonviolent resistance, will be facilitating the training. The FANG Collective works to build, support and escalate nonviolent resistance to the natural gas industry while supporting other movements for justice. During this training, they will provide a thorough overview of NVDA and what it might look like to participate in a direct action.
