Spectra has no business here in Weymouth, Braintree, Quincy or anywhere else. They feel our opposition growing and it's clear that they are starting to sweat. To build the opposition against Spectra, we need to get more people involved. Join us as we walk together in a march against Spectra. Invite your friends, family, and neighbors.
Though this event is in Weymouth, we hope to bring attention to folks fighting Spectra all across the region, from West Roxbury to Burrillville and beyond.
Details:
The March will begin at Abigail Adams State Park (Route 3A in Weymouth, across from Lowes) in Weymouth. We will walk 1.5 miles to the site of the compressor (6 Bridge St.), holding signs and singing chants along the way. We will end at the proposed site with a community picnic.
